The Camping Chronicles

Welcome to the Brown Family’s Great Adventure!

Meet the Team

We’re Kevin, Laura, George, Charlotte, and Margaret – a family of intrepid explorers who’ve made the open road our second home.

Since 2007, we’ve been traveling around the UK and Europe in our succession of holiday homes. Our very first was an Outdoor Revolution Airedale 12 Tent, and as our family has grown, so have our adventures and our holiday homes. We now travel in our 2020 Roller Team Autoroller 747, exploring new places and making memories.

The roads we take and the places we stop evolve as we meet new friends along the way. These chance encounters and shared stories help shape our journey, and we’re always excited to receive tips and recommendations from fellow travellers.

We’re delighted to share our adventures, mishaps, and insights with you. From travel itineraries and camping tips to destination recommendations and family-friendly activities, our aim is to inspire other families to embark on their own extraordinary adventures.

We started this website to chronicle our adventures so that our friends and family can follow along on our journeys, but it’s grown into a space where we can share our stories, tips, and experiences with a wider audience. Whether you’re a seasoned traveller or planning your first trip, we hope our adventures inspire you to hit the road and explore.

So, buckle up and join us as we embark on our next adventure. Who knows where the road will take us next? As we always say in our family, ‘Home is where you park it!’
